Based on the interested shown by the listeners subsequent lessons are programmed and scheduled.

Statement of Faith

The Bible is world of the invisible God revealed to man and the authoritative source of our faith and conduct; and the sole base of the tenets of our faith. We believe the following:

  1. THE BIBLE:
We  believe the Holy Bible is the word of God, inspired by the Holy Spirit and it is the sole source and authority in matters of faith and conduct.  (2 Tim.3:16, 2 Pet. 1:20-21, Hebrews 4:12, Psalm 119:105).

  1. GOD:
There is One God, the creator of all things; and has revealed himself in three distinct persons – God the father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. The three are co-equal and co-eternal. (Deut.6:4, Col.1:16, 2 Cor. 13:14, John 10:30, Psalm 90:2, Psalm 93:1, Psalm 139:1-6, 7-13, Deut.32:4, Exo.9:27, 1 John 4:8, 1 Peter 1:3, Romans 8:28).

  1. MAN:
Man was created in the image of God, to be a physical and spiritual being in fellowship with God, but the fall and sin has separated man from his creator. Therefore, man is in need of a Saviour to save him from the eternal damnation and hell. (Gen.1:26-27, Romans 3:23, Romans 6:23, Eph.2:1-5, 12).

  1. JESUS CHRIST:
We believe that Lord Jesus Christ is God in human flesh. He is the Saviour of the world and the second person of the Holy Trinity. He was born of the virgin Mary and became man like one of us, but unlike other human beings was without sin. He sacrificed and died for sinners so that men can be saved by believing in his finished work of salvation. He rose again from the death and is now seated at the right hand of God the Father. (John 1:1, Matthew 1:21, Col.1:15, Isaiah 53:5-6, Acts 16:31, Matthew 28:6, Heb.4:15, 1 Peter 1:3).

  1. SALVATION:
Salvation is a free gift of God through the sacrifice of Our Lord Jesus Christ on the cross and his glorious resurrection. Salvation is solely by grace through faith in Jesus Christ; and not by works or merit. Anyone who believes in Jesus alone will be saved. (Ephesians 2:8-9, Romans 5:8-9, 1 Peter 2:24, John 14:6).

  1. WATER BAPTISM:
We believe that water baptism is the outward expression of the inward change that has already taken place. Water baptism itself does not save man but a person who had been born-again must do water baptism in obedience of the Lord’s command and show to the world that he is coming out from the water as a new person like Jesus died and rose again from the death by his glorious resurrection (Matt. 28:20; Mark 16:16; Acts 2:34-36; Acts 19:1-6. Rom. 6:1-6).

  1. HOLY COMMUNION:
We believe in the Holy Communion, or the Lord’s Supper for believers. It is an ordinance given by Jesus Christ to remember his sacrifice for us on the cross and to symbolize the new covenant. The bread and wine are symbols of Christ’s broken body and shed blood. (1 Cor. 11:28-32; Matt. 26:26-28, 2 Pet. 1:4).

  1. THE CHURCH:
The Church is the body of Christ on this earth. We believe in the one true holy universal Church, which is made up of genuine believers in Christ. And the local church with its autonomy and self-governance has only one head which is Our Lord Jesus Christ. The local church exists to be witness of the gospel to the nations, ministering sacraments, comforting its people (1 Cor. 12: 12 – 14, 2 Cor.11:2, Eph.1:22-23, 5:25-27).

  1. HOLY SPIRIT:
The Holy Spirit is God, the third person in the Holy Trinity. He dwells among all Christians. He comforts us, guides us, and blesses us with spiritual gifts, understanding of the truth and empowers us to bear the fruit of the Spirit. (2 Corinthians 3:17; John 16:7-13, 14:16, 17; Acts 1:8; 1 Corinthians 2:12, 3:16; Ephesians 1:13; Galatians 5:25; Ephesians 5:1).

  1. THE SECOND COMING:
We believe that our Lord Jesus Christ is coming back again just as He promised to take his believers with him to Heaven. However, those who do not believe in him will be condemned to eternal hell. When Christ comes back, he will restore everything. And he will reign with his saints for a thousand year. The Kingdom of God will be then restored fully. (1 Thess. 4:16-17, 1 Cor. 15:51-52, Rev. 20:1-6).

  1. THE GREAT COMMISSION:
As Christ commanded his disciples, we believe all Christians have the great privilege and commission to preach and spread the good news of the gospel to all people in all nations, making them to become disciples of Jesus Christ. (Matthew 28:19, Mark 16:15).
