A very graceful Christmas celebration was held at church on 25th December 2017 starting at 11:00AM with performances and Carols from the church members and friends.

Christmas sermon

The pastor preached the word of God from Isaiah 9:6 with the theme “The Prince of Peace”. The preacher explained that the birth of Christ was the coming of Peace into this world. Because of sin man became the enemy of God and had no peace with God before the coming of Christ. Christ allowed man to be in peace with God through his redemptive work on the cross, the preacher said.

“The long lasting peace, the real peace, the inner peace can come only from Christ because he is the only truth, the only way to the Peace of God. No other man can give that peace,” he said.

“The first person to bridge peace between God and man was, and is Christ alone,” he said.

“You too can receive this peace of God by accepting Christ into your life who comes to you are the greatest GIFT of all. You do not need to work for it, do good for it, nor earn it – it is Free, that is why Christmas is the GIFT of God to men,” he said.

“Repent your sins, receive Christ and be in peace with God through the prince of God,” he said.
