As we walk towards the Passion Week, we are learning sermon series on ‘The Path to the Cross’ – starting from John 13 – where Apostle John introduced us to the Love of the Lord; he said that Lord Jesus loved them (his disciples) to the end and John followed up describing the scene where Lord Jesus washed the feet of the disciples, teaching them absolute humility practically, showing his perfect love even at the last hour of his death.

The Path to the Cross is the less taken road, less learned and often little understood by modern day Christians but it is at the heart of the gospel. Therefore, understanding the path to the Cross will allow believers to understand the Cross and the gospel message in its entirety. Without understanding the Path to the Cross, we will not be able to see the sacrifice and love of the Lord.
